Installing the beta

Your invite email carries a link for your phone. The build is pre-release — Apple and Google make you go through their testing programs, so it takes a couple of taps more than a normal install.

Install TestFlight from the App Store — it's Apple's free app for trying pre-release builds.

Open the invite email on your iPhone and tap View in TestFlight (or paste the code into TestFlight → Redeem).

Tap Install next to Scout Ashes, then open it from your home screen and sign in.

Send feedback any time by taking a screenshot inside TestFlight, or tap Send Beta Feedback.

Android

Make sure the Google account on your phone matches the email you gave us — testing is tied to that account.

Open the invite email and tap the Become a tester link, then accept on the page that opens.

Tap Download it on Google Play and install Scout Ashes as usual. (A fresh opt-in can take a few minutes to show.)

Open the app and sign in. Send feedback from the Play listing's Send feedback option, or write to us directly.

What we ask of testers

Light real fires. Tell us what breaks.

A beta is a working draft. Some things will be rough, some screens will change. Log your real campfires, pass your ash, and when something feels wrong, tell us — every report makes the chain stronger before launch.
